BreezeSMP Server Rules
These rules are a basic list of offenses. We still expect common sense and curtesy to be used. These rules should be considered as guidelines to keep our community family-friendly and safe for all players. By playing on Breeze or joining our discord, you agree to follow these guidelines. Failure to follow these rules will result in punishment by our staff team.
All Gamemodes
These rules apply to all Breeze gamemodes, current and future. Breeze Survival and Breeze Skyblock players are expected to abide by these guidelines at all times.
Punishments here are network wide; if you're muted on skyblock, you'll be muted on survival.
Filter Evasion
Players may not attempt to bypass the chat filter or censorship systems in any way. This includes, but is not limited to:
⤷ Using special characters, numbers, or spacing to disguise inappropriate words.
⤷ Deliberately misspelling filtered terms to get around the system.
⤷ Using abbreviations or acronyms that clearly reference banned content.
⤷ Writing words in other languages or backwords to avoid detection.
The intent of this rule is to maintain a friendly and welcoming chat environment.
Offensive Language / Excessive Swearing
We are committed to maintaining a welcoming and inclusive community for all players. As such, the use of offensive language is strictly prohibited on this server. This includes, but is not limited to:
⤷ Profanity or vulgar language.
⤷ Sexual content or innuendos inappropriate for general audiences.
⤷ Discussions surrounding mature topics such as drugs.
Context does not excuse offensive behaviour or language. Even if something is said as a "joke" it may still be harmful or unwelcome to others.
Excessive Capitals
Please avoid using excessive capital letters in chat. Writing in all caps is often seen as shouting and can be disruptive or annoying to other players. This includes, but is not limited to:
⤷ Messages typed entirely in capital letters.
⤷ Overusing capital letters for emphasis in normal conversations.
⤷ Spamming caps repeatedly in chat.
Avoiding overusing capital letters in chat can make it more enjoyable and less disruptive for everyone.
Spam
To keep the chat clean and enjoyable for everyone, spamming is not allowed. Spamming clutters the chat, makes it harder for others to communicate, and can be disruptive to the overall gameplay experience. Spamming includes, but is not limited to:
⤷ Repeating the same message or command over and over.
⤷ Sending multiple short messages rapidly in a row.
⤷ Using excessive characters, symbols or emojis (e.g., "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" or "aaaaaaaaaaa").
⤷ Posting nonsense or gibberish to flood chat.
⤷ Repeatedly advertising a PW or asking the same question over and over.
⤷ Abusing commands or plugins that create chat messages (e.g., /message
, /pay
, etc).
Spamming makes it difficult for others to have real conversations, see important messages from staff, or ask for help. It can also create a chaotic and annoying environment that drives players away. We want everyone to feel welcome and heard in chat — not overwhelmed by noise.
Foreign Languages in Main Chat
To keep communication clear and inclusive for everyone, we ask that English be used in the main chat. This helps staff moderate effectively and ensures all players can participate in public conversations. Foreign language use is allowed in the following ways:
⤷ In private messages or party/team chats.
⤷ Occasionally in main chat for greetings or short phrases, as long as it doesn't disrupt the flow of conversation.
Moreover, foreign language use is not allowed in the following ways:
⤷ Extended conversations in other languages in main chat.
⤷ Using foreign languages to bypass rules or hide inappropriate content.
⤷ Spamming or excessive repetition in any language.
If you're unsure, just ask a staff member! We want everyone to feel welcome while keeping chat manageable and enjoyable for all players.
Harassment/Abusive Behaviour
We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive community for all players. Any form of harassment or abusive behaviour is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
⤷ Insulting, threatening, or bullying other players.
⤷ Repeated unwanted messages (in public chat or private messages).
⤷ Targeting or singling out players to mock, shame, or provoke them.
⤷ Harassing staff or refusing to respect staff decisions.
⤷ Toxic behaviour towards other players.
⤷ Encouraging harmful behaviour.
The server should be a fun and safe place for everyone. Harassment and abuse can ruin someone’s experience and even affect their well-being outside the game. This rule helps ensure that everyone feels welcome and respected while playing here. We don’t expect everyone to get along perfectly, but basic human decency is required.
Hate Speech
Hate speech is absolutely not tolerated on the server under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to:
⤷ Racial, ethnic, or religious slurs.
⤷ Homophobic, transphobic, or sexist remarks.
⤷ Ableist language or mocking disabilities.
⤷ Promoting or glorifying hate groups, ideologies, or symbols.
⤷ Using "jokes" or "memes" that target or dehumanise specific groups of people.
Hate speech is not “just words”. It creates a hostile, unsafe environment that can deeply hurt and alienate other players. BreezeSMP is a server for people of all backgrounds, and everyone deserves to feel safe and respected while playing.
Wishing Harm on Others
Wishing any form of harm or ill intent on other players is not allowed whatsoever. This includes, but is not limited to:
⤷ Death wishes, or any type of physical harm.
⤷ Wishing an illness on another player.
⤷ Saying that you hope another player dies or falls under some type of harm or misfortune to a serious extent.
Even if you are "joking" about your intentions or wishes on other players, serious matters such as wishing ill intent on another player is strictly prohibited to ensure the safety and well-being of our players.
Staff Disrespect
Disrespecting staff members is not allowed under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to:
⤷ Insulting, mocking, or harassing staff.
⤷ Arguing excessively with staff decisions.
⤷ Undermining or questioning staff authority in a disrespectful way.
⤷ Spreading false information or rumours about staff members.
Staff are here to help keep the server fair and enjoyable for everyone. If you believe a staff member is acting unfairly, please report it through the proper channels instead of confronting them in chat.
Impersonation
Impersonating staff members, other players, or public figures is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
⤷ Using usernames, nicknames, or skins that resemble staff or well-known players.
⤷ Claiming to be a staff member or affiliated with the staff team without permission.
⤷ Faking messages (e.g., editing screenshots to mislead others).
⤷ Pretending to have powers, ranks, or permissions you do not actually have.
Impersonation can cause confusion, spread misinformation, and damage trust within the community. It will be taken seriously.
Leaking Personal Information
Sharing someone else's personal information without their permission is not allowed, even if it seems harmless. This includes, but is not limited to:
⤷ Sharing someone's real name, age, school, work, location or social media.
⤷ Posting screenshots, photos, or private messages without consent.
⤷ "Joking" about someone's identity or personal details in public or private chats.
⤷ Outing a person's gender or sexual orientation without consent to do so.
Everyone deserves to feel safe and respected while playing. Even minor leaks can lead to serious consequences.
Server Advertising
Advertising other Minecraft servers or communities is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
⤷ Sharing IP addresses, server names, or website links to other Minecraft servers.
⤷ Inviting players to Discord servers not affiliated with this community.
⤷ Promoting other servers in chat, private messages, signs, books, or builds.
⤷ "Joking" about other servers or saying things like "join my server" even without a link.
We work hard to build and maintain our community. Advertising takes away from that and will not be tolerated.
Sending Links
For the safety of our players, sending links in chat is restricted. This includes, but is not limited to:
⤷ Posting any external links (websites, videos, forms, images, etc.) in public or private messages.
⤷ Sharing shortened URLs (like but.ly or tinyurl).
⤷ Linking to content that is inappropriate, unsafe, or unrelated to Breeze.
Only trusted links approved by staff (such as official server websites, Discord invites, or store links) are allowed. Unapproved or suspicious links can pose security risks.
Teleport Spamming
Sending excessive or repeated teleport requests (e.g. /tpa
, /tpahere
) to other players is not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to:
⤷ Spamming teleport requests to annoy or pressure someone into accepting.
⤷ Re-sending requests immediately after being denied or ignored.
⤷ Abusing teleport commands to harass or interrupt other players.
Respect other players' space and time. If someone doesn't want to teleport, you must respect their choice.
Griefing
Griefing is strictly prohibited. This means intentionally damaging, altering, or ruining another player’s builds, or land without their permission. This includes, but is not limited to:
⤷ Breaking or placing blocks within the surrounding area of another player's claim.
⤷ Lava/water dumping, setting traps, or using TNT near others to harm builds/terrain.
⤷ Intentionally claiming land within 60-blocks of another player's claim to annoy them.
We want everyone to feel safe and proud of what they build. Griefing ruins the fun and will not be tolerated.
NOTE: If you trust a player to your claim and they proceed to grief you/take belongings, that is on you. It is your responsibility to only trust players to claims that you know.
Scamming
Scamming other players is not allowed under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to:
⤷ Tricking players during trades (e.g., offering one item but giving another).
⤷ Not delivering items, money, or services after a deal has been made.
⤷ Using fake items, shops, or trades to deceive players.
⤷ Lying about item enchantments, stats, or value to mislead others.
All trades and deals should be honest and fair. Scamming ruins trust and the server economy.
Trapping/Killing
Trapping or intentionally killing other players in unfair ways is not allowed unless both parties clearly agree to PvP. This includes, but is not limited to:
⤷ Creating teleport traps (e.g. inviting players to a /tpa
or /pw
and killing them).
⤷ Blocking players with no escape, lava trapping, or suffocation traps.
⤷ Setting up fake shops, bases, or trades to lure and kill players.
Fair play and trust are important to keeping the server fun for everyone. If PvP is enabled, it must be consensual and balanced.
Inappropriate Skins
Using skins that contain offensive, inappropriate, or disruptive content is not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to:
⤷ Hate symbols, figures, offensive gestures, or slurs.
⤷ Content disrespectful to players, staff, or groups.
Players are expected to use skins that are suitable for all ages and keep the community welcoming and safe.
Inappropriate Usernames
Usernames that contain offensive, inappropriate, or disruptive content are not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to:
⤷ Profanity, slurs, or hate speech.
⤷ Names that impersonate staff or other players.

Your username is part of your identity in the community, so please choose one that respects others and follows server guidelines.
Tick Mechanics
Exploiting or abusing Minecraft’s tick mechanics to gain unfair advantages or to make the server lag is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
⤷ Causing server lag by creating excessive tick-heavy machines or farms.
⤷ Using glitches or bugs related to game ticks.
⤷ Manipulating redstone in unintended ways to disrupt gameplay.
We want fair and smooth gameplay for everyone. Abusing tick mechanics harms the server and community experience.
Flying Machines
Flying machines are allowed only if they do not cause excessive lag or disrupt other players. Please follow these guidelines:
⤷ Avoid building flying machines that generate massive lag or server performance issues.
⤷ Do not use flying machines to grief, block access, or harass other players.
⤷ Keep flying machines within your own claimed land.
⤷ Staff may request the removal or disabling of any flying machines causing problems.
We want to encourage creativity while maintaining a smooth gameplay experience for everyone.

Please keep your creations respectful and enjoyable for the entire community.

⤷ Disrespectful jokes targeting players, staff, or groups.

All item names should follow similar community standards as chat. If you’re not sure if a name is okay — don’t use it, or ask a staff member.
X-Ray Modifications or Texture Packs
Using X-Ray mods, texture packs, or any other cheats that reveal hidden ores, caves, or valuable resources is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
⤷ Any client modifications that give an unfair advantage in locating resources.
⤷ Sharing or promoting the use of X-Ray tools with other players.
⤷ Exploiting glitches or bugs to see through blocks.
Our goal is fair gameplay for everyone. Using X-Ray cheats ruins the challenge and economy of the server.

⤷ Mods that give unfair advantages (e.g., auto-mining, auto-build, etc).

Plugins are here to enhance gameplay, not to be exploited or abused.
DDoS / DOX / SWAT Threats
Threatening or attempting to launch DDoS attacks, doxing (sharing personal information), or SWATting (false emergency reports) against the server, staff, or players is strictly forbidden.
⤷ These actions are illegal and put everyone's safety at risk.
⤷ Any threats, jokes, or discussions about performing such attacks will be taken seriously.
⤷ If you have concerns or issues, please report them through proper channels, not threats.

).
Island Boosting
Island boosting is not allowed. This means using other players, alt accounts, or islands to unfairly boost your island’s level, economy, or leaderboard standing. This includes:
⤷ Transferring items, money, or spawners from other islands solely to gain an advantage.
⤷ Creating or using alt islands to funnel resources into your main island.
⤷ Merging or deleting islands to pass progress or value unnaturally.
⤷ Exploiting friends or inactive players to farm for your benefit without meaninful contribution.
Skyblock competition should be fair. Boosting creates an uneven playing field and undermines the purpose of progression.
Doing this could result in all involved islands being disqualified from /is top
competition.
Punishment Ladder
Users found to be continuously breaking our rules on any gamemode will face harsher punishment durations in the future. Continuous rule breaking will result in a permanent ban from Breeze and any related platforms.
Evading any form of punishment will immediately extend the punishment duration for all involved parties. This includes logging into cracked or alternate accounts, using VPNs, or helping another user bypass their punishment by lending your own.
Punishment appeals
You can appeal any punishment you've received through Discord, via our #❓┊support channel if you believe the punishment was not appropriate. Please allow up to 48-hours of processing time for a staff member to get back to you on your inquiries.
