PvP

PvP on Breeze is entirely opt-in. It's disabled by default — you choose when to fight. Whether you want a casual duel or a full arena session, the system keeps things fair with combat tracking, cooldowns, and inventory protection.

Toggling PvP

Use /pvptoggle to enable or disable PvP for yourself. PvP is off by default and automatically turns off again when you respawn. Both players must have PvP enabled to fight each other.

The PvP Arena

Head to /warp pvp for the dedicated PvP world. This is the main arena where players go to fight. Mace smash attacks are disabled in this world to keep combat balanced.

Combat System

When you deal or take damage from another player, you enter combat mode for 20 seconds. A red "IN COMBAT" boss bar with a countdown timer appears on your screen.

While in combat:

  • You cannot use teleport commands (/spawn, /home, /tpa, /warp, /pw, etc.).
  • You cannot toggle PvP off.
  • If you log out, you take lethal damage — no combat logging.

Item Cooldowns

Certain items have cooldowns during combat to keep fights fair:

  • Golden Apple — 60-second cooldown
  • Enchanted Golden Apple — 60-second cooldown
  • Chorus Fruit — 60-second cooldown
  • Ender Pearl — 30-second cooldown

Death & Inventory

Outside the PvP world: If you die in PvP combat (within 20 seconds of taking player damage), your inventory and XP are preserved. You don't lose anything.

Inside the PvP world (/warp pvp): Standard death rules apply — items drop and XP is lost.

StatTrak

Track your player kills with the StatTrak system. Apply a "Players Killed" StatTrak item to any weapon or tool to display a running kill counter in the item's lore.

Tips

  • PvP resets to off every time you respawn, so you need to re-enable it each time.
  • Watch your combat timer before trying to teleport away. The 20-second lockout is strict.
  • Outside the arena, your items are safe — you only risk losing gear in the /warp pvp world.
